Why Choose It

Benefits of Concrete Driveways

Strength for Daily Use

A properly built concrete driveway handles vehicles day after day without rutting or softening in the summer heat.

Long Lifespan

Concrete driveways commonly last decades with basic care, often outlasting asphalt.

Low Maintenance

No yearly sealcoating like asphalt. Just keep it clean and reseal occasionally.

Curb Appeal

A clean, crisp driveway instantly improves the look of your home or business.

Cooler Surface

Light-colored concrete reflects heat, so it stays cooler than blacktop in the summer.

Make It Yours

Finish & Build Options

  • Broom Finish

The standard choice: textured for traction, clean-looking and budget-friendly.

  • Exposed Aggregate

The top layer is washed away to reveal decorative stone, for a durable, textured, upscale look.

  • Stamped or Colored Accents

Add stamped borders, a colored apron or a decorative entry to dress up a standard driveway.

  • Thickness & Reinforcement

We build to how you'll use it: thicker slabs and steel reinforcement for heavy trucks, RVs and trailers.

  • Extensions & Parking Pads

Widen an existing driveway or add a pad for an RV, boat or extra vehicles.

How We Do It

Our Concrete Driveways Process

  1. 1

    Site Visit & Layout

We measure, check drainage and discuss thickness, finish and any extensions.

  2. 2

    Tear-Out & Removal

Old asphalt, gravel or concrete is removed and hauled away.

  3. 3

    Base Prep & Compaction

We grade and compact the base. This is the most important step for preventing cracks and settling.

  4. 4

    Forms & Reinforcement

Forms are set to the right slope for drainage, and reinforcement is placed.

  5. 5

    Pour, Finish & Joints

We pour, finish to your chosen texture and cut control joints to manage cracking.

  6. 6

    Cure

We'll let you know exactly when it's safe to walk on and drive on.

Care & Maintenance

Walk on it after 24–48 hours, drive passenger vehicles on it after about 7 days, and wait closer to 30 days for heavy trucks or equipment. Avoid rock salt and de-icers, especially the first winter. Clean oil stains promptly. Sealing every few years helps protect against moisture and stains.

Questions

Concrete Driveways FAQ

How thick should my driveway be?

Most residential driveways are about 4 inches thick. If you have heavy trucks, an RV or equipment, we'll recommend a thicker slab and additional reinforcement.

How long before I can drive on it?

Usually about 7 days for passenger vehicles, and longer for heavy loads. We'll give you specific guidance based on the weather and your project.

Can you replace my old asphalt or gravel driveway?

Yes. We handle the tear-out, haul-off and base prep before pouring your new concrete driveway.

Why does concrete crack?

Concrete naturally shrinks as it cures and moves with temperature changes. Good base prep, reinforcement and properly spaced control joints keep cracking to a minimum and in the joints where you won't notice it.

Concrete or asphalt?

Asphalt is cheaper upfront, but concrete typically lasts longer, needs less maintenance and stays cooler. For most homeowners planning to stay put, concrete is the better long-term value.
